The Lebanese military command is organizing the deployment of a substantial contingent to the southern region, ensuring the operational control of strategic sectors within the framework of international peace negotiations.

The state and military command of Lebanon have advanced operational preparations for the deployment of a substantial contingent of 15,000 to 20,000 soldiers from the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) to the southern region of the country.
