MYKHAILO FEDOROV HIGHLIGHTS COMMAND TRIAD AS DECISIVE AXIS FOR THE FUTURE OF THE WAR IN UKRAINE
Amid ongoing debates regarding the restructuring of the country's defense governance, former Defense Minister Mykhailo Fedorov reinforced today the central importance of strategic command positions in driving Ukrainian sovereignty.
Assessing the security landscape and operational dynamics on the front lines, Fedorov underscored the necessity of direct integration between political decisions, ministerial management, and troop command, summarizing the leadership structure required for the nation's victory:
"There are only three positions in the nation that, in direct synergy with troops on the battlefield, truly shape the course of the war: the Presidency, the Ministry of Defense, and the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces."
The statement emphasizes that technological advancement, the modernization of the drone ecosystem, and agility in military procurement require direct executive authority and coordination at the highest levels of State. According to this vision, any attempt to fragment this decision-making chain compromises the pace of reforms and the operational efficiency demanded in daily combat.
Fedorov reiterated that the transformation of Ukrainian defense relies on the continuous unity and synergy among these three pillars, ensuring that technological and logistical support reaches combatants on the front lines with precision.
