Board of Peace Announces Historic Agreement for Complete Disarmament of Hamas and Armed Groups in the Gaza Strip
The Board of Peace announced the signing of a historic agreement for the complete disarmament of Hamas and all other armed factions operating in the Gaza Strip. The achievement is classified as a decisive milestone in advancing the 20-Point Plan and a fundamental step toward establishing permanent peace, stability, and security in the Middle East.
The plan establishes the progressive transition of the territory's governance to a new technical Palestinian civil administration, which will act in direct coordination with the Board of Peace. The initiative aims to accelerate the enclave's reconstruction, ensure humanitarian assistance, and guarantee that Gaza is no longer used as a platform for incursions and attacks.
Operational Pillars of the Transition Plan:
Gradual and Structured Execution: Disarmament will take place through verifiable stages.
Withdrawal of Israel Defense Forces (IDF): The demobilization and pullback of Israeli troops from the territory will be tied and proportional to the effective progress of the disarmament process.
International Security Architecture: The International Stabilization Force (ISF) will act in cooperation with a newly trained Palestinian police force to ensure public order and cross-border security.
Multilateral Mediation: Talks were facilitated by the diplomacies of Egypt, Qatar, and Türkiye, alongside international negotiation teams.
The measure ends the cycle of war hostilities and enables the sustainable economic recovery of Gaza, under an unrestricted commitment to protecting the civilian population and preventing the rebuilding of military capabilities present prior to October 7.
