Trump Denies Halting Dialogue with Iran and Demands Immediate Deal: "It Cannot Be Allowed to Go On Any Longer"

In an official statement released through his social media, President Donald J. Trump categorically denied press reports that diplomatic channels between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran had been severed. The President classified the reports as "false and erroneous," reassuring that bilateral talks remain active and daily.

According to the Executive branch's statement, Washington and Tehran have maintained continuous and uninterrupted conversations throughout the past week. Trump detailed that meetings and contacts took place successively over the last four days, extending through today.

While adopting a cautious stance on the outcome of the negotiations — stating that "where they lead, one never knows" —, the American President maintained the firm tone that characterizes his foreign policy. Trump revealed he delivered a direct ultimatum to Iranian authorities, demanding a definitive resolution to an impasse that has dragged on for nearly five decades.

"It’s time, one way or another, for you to make a Deal. You’ve been doing this for 47 years, and it cannot be allowed to go on any longer!" declared President Trump, addressing the Iranian government.

The statement reinforces the White House strategy of maintaining diplomatic and economic pressure on Tehran, while simultaneously leaving the door open for a negotiated resolution, provided it meets the national security interests of the United States and its allies.
