Supreme National Security Council of Iran Announces Memorandum of Understanding to End War with the United States

The Secretariat of the Supreme National Security Council of the Islamic Republic of Iran issued an official statement this Sunday evening addressed to the Iranian people, announcing the finalization of the text of the Memorandum of Understanding on the Negotiations for the End of the War with the United States, mediated in Islamabad.

In accordance with the resolution of the Supreme National Security Council, the agreement stipulates the immediate and permanent cessation of all military operations and hostilities across all fronts—including Lebanon—starting tonight. The document also provides for the immediate and complete lifting of the naval blockade against Iran.

Future Negotiations: The Secretariat informed that the opening of talks for a final and definitive agreement remains contingent upon the full compliance by the United States with the obligations and terms established in this initial memorandum.
