The strategic elevation of Ali al-Taher, located in the Nabatieh district, has established itself as the epicenter of military tension due to its commanding topographical control over the surrounding region. Amid intense U.S. pressure for Hezbollah fighters to vacate the ridge in favor of the Lebanese Army—in exchange for guarantees of an Israeli pullback—the negotiations remain deadlocked. This stagnation stems from Beirut's demand for formal safeguards against new bombardments, compounded by skepticism regarding the strict fulfillment of truce agreements.
Expansion of Pilot Zones and State Limitations
